What made you want to be a part of this show?
I have loved this play for many years and have always wanted to perform in it.

What is the most unexpected part of community theater to you?
Even though I was new, I felt welcome the moment I got involved. I appreciate the integration, the mentoring, and the comradery. Everybody plays a part in community theater, and everyone’s part is important.

What would you like the audience to know about your character?
That no one wants to be overlooked.  We all have feelings, we all need love, and wish to be recognized.

What excites you about this show?
Gosh, I’d say, the nutty disfunction of this family, and at their core they truly love each other.

What should audiences expect at the show?
A good belly laugh!

Are you like/unlike your character? In what way?
When I was little, I was super tiny and always felt overlooked (at least I thought so); maybe every child feels this. Much like Sonia, I’ll surprise you!  Unlike Sonia, I knew that I was loved and what role I played in my family.

What is your favorite thing about performing?
The challenge to absorb another person’s character.
