What made you want to be a part of this show?
I have not been able to perform in quite some time, and wanted to get back to singing on stage!
What is your favorite love song? Why?
My favorite love song is “I Only Have Eyes For You” by The Flamingos. It was our first dance song at our wedding!
What do you do to celebrate valentine’s day (whether you’re with a partner or not)
I always try to spend time with my partner, and usually bake something sweet for friends and coworkers!
What excites you most about being part of this production?
I’m really excited to perform musical theater again, and to get to know some new folks in Bloomington!
What are you performing? why is it special to you?
I am singing “Tell Me On A Sunday” by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Eric Shelley introduced me to this song during a Constellation class I was taking and I feel in love with it. I’ve got a special place in my heart for Andrew Lloyd Webber, no matter how polarizing he can be in the musical theater community!
What do you hope the audience gets from this show?
I hope the audience will revel in the power of music to tell such different stories!
