This is my first production with MCCT but being from Bloomington I’ve worked on other local projects.  I started out in my high school theater program (Bloomington north) and transitions into stages Bloomington at the end of school and post graduation. My favorite productions I had the opportunity to work on have to be Peter and the Starcatcher as Prentiss and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor dream coat.

I think Cassandra’s character could be viewed as fairly self-explanatory, but to me she has some great layers. At first glance at the script I struggled to find the reality of her character, how she was rooted into the real world. Yes while she lives with one foot in the “spirit world” and one in reality she stays grounded and true to what she believes is right.. Cassandra is a girls girl for sure 😉

The most exciting thing about this show is the incredible amount of talent on that stage. Every actor has done tremendous work to make these characters come to life and I’m thrilled to get to be apart of it and work with this great group of creatives!

Expect to laugh until you cry! It will have you in stitches. But really… you will laugh until you can’t laugh any more.. and then you’ll laugh some more

I do feel in some ways I’m like Cassandra.. dramatic for one 😉 but in other ways I think Cassandra has this powerful commanding energy that in my personal life I don’t tend to carry. However I will be carrying more Cassandra energy in my day to day

Well that’s a tough question.. I think if I had to pick a favorite thing about performing I would say the ability to make a lasting impression on complete strangers. So many times as an audience member I walk away from a show in awe of the performers and talk about their performance extensively and they don’t even know how much I loved it. I just love the idea that when I’m on stage I have the ability to be that person for someone else.
