Time: Past, Present & Future Auditions

Join us for our first cabaret of 2025! Director Laura DeBrunner will take us on a musical journey through time from the past to the present and straight into the future.

Auditions are June 21 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Commons at Bell Trace Senior Living Community. (800 Bell Trace Ct, Bloomington, IN 47408)

Audition Date: Saturday, June 21st from 2PM-5PM at Bell Trace Senior Living Center ( The Commons). Please sign up online using this link: https://signup.com/go/KHPYWjb 

Audition Directions: Enter the Main Entrance at 800 North Bell Trace Circle. There is parking by the entrance. Please do not park in spots labeled for residents. Please sign in at the main desk and go down the stairs to the bottom floor to the room labeled The Commons. An audition monitor will be there to help. 

Audition Information: MCCT is looking for various performers to perform acts about time- poetry, original works, monologues, songs, dances etc. that incorporate the themes of past, present, and future time (i.e Journey to the Past from Anastasia). For your audition please present the act that you would like to do for the show. If you are singing, please have the karaoke track available to play from your phone.

MCCT is also looking to cast soloists for the following solo roles in the following songs: 

1. Too Much Time on My Hands ( Styx): Three Tenor Soloists (  dance experience preferred but not required, must be able to sing in a rock style with rock harmonies)
2. (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life ( Dirty Dancing): Soprano/ Mezzo- Soprano Soloist & Baritone/Bass Soloist (dance experience preferred but not required)

If you would like to audition for any of the solo parts, please prepare to sing Too Much Time on My Hands from “Well I’m so tired… tickin’ away from me” ( 1:07-2:00) 

For I’ve Had the Time of My Life please sing from the beginning to 1:53 on the part you are auditioning for. We will have a karaoke track for you to sing with at the audition.

Rehearsal Dates: ( performers will be put in either Act I or Act II)
