Roy Sillings has been on the MCCT board for twenty years. During that time, he has
participated in all but a few of its annual Shakespeare productions; acting, designing and
painting sets, directing, working on scripts, and video recordings. He has also appeared in many
other roles, from Dracula to Humpty Dumpty, and written three full-length plays and several skits
for MCCT performances. After getting a start at MCCT, he has gone on to act for several other
local theatres and appeared in several local films. As a voice actor, he has performed in
local podcasts and narrated one nationally distributed documentary. Roy holds an AB degree in
Classical Languages and an MS in Instructional Systems Technology and is employed at
Communication Disorders Technology, Inc., where he has been a software designer and
programmer for many years.
