Third Street Park Stage

MCCT is perhaps best-known in Bloomington for the Shakespeare in the Park series. Third Street Park's outdoor stage is where the magic happens every summer, with assistance from Bloomington Parks and Recreation. Because the stage is outdoors, it is possible that some performances may be cancelled or postponed due to weather. However, we do try to perform as long as doing so will not endanger the safety of our audience or our cast and crew.

Third Street Park is located between Lincoln and Washington Streets near downtown Bloomington. Despite the park's name, it does not actually front on Third Street; you will find it behind the police station, which is on Third. The stage is at the back of the park, behind the large fountain, near the Parks and Recreation building. Parking is available on the east side of the park and sometimes in the police station lot to the north.
