Directors' Notes

My production of John Murrell’s play "Waiting for the Parade" is a series of connected excerpts taken from his full length play. It is about the lives of five women in Calgary, Canada during World War II.
As director of "Waiting for the Parade," I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Jennifer Schug for serving as rehearsal assistant and assisstant stage manager for my production. Also, a big thank you to Jamie Acres for all her assistance with props, costumes and just about everything. I also want to thank the Monroe County Civic Theatre for the opportunity to share my work. Another thank you to my cast for their hard work.
--Amy Stepanek
