Upcoming Shows will be June 4-10 for Macbeth for our Shakespeare in the Park and a Cabaret Night on April 28 and 29 of songs from musicals you can’t do in high school and possibly a Radio Play that is potentially being scheduled for the spring or summer. All ages and skill levels are welcome to audition.

Please know your time conflicts through June and bring with you. If you have a resume/photo (does not need to be professional just needs to look like you) , bring that as well.

How to prepare for Shakespeare Audition:

Please prepare a monologue from one of the Shakespeare dramas and you may do one from Macbeth. It does not have to be memorized but can be and you should not be cold reading it for the first time. Be able to perform it with feeling and understanding. If you do not have one, we will give you one to do at the auditions.

Shakespeare is a long rehearsal schedule and a serious committment. Most rehearsals will occur in the 3rd St. Park if weather permits (At Sheila’s if weather doesn’t permit) and usually on Tuesday 6-dark, Thursday 6-dark as well as a Friday, Saturday or Sunday rehearsal depending on availablity. Tech rehearsal is June 3, 4, 5 and 6 and performances are 7, 8 and 9 in evening and 10 for a Matinee. We also need people interested in stage managing, costuming, being backstage, running sound etc.

How to prepare for Cabaret Audition:

If you already have a song prepared from a musical not usually allowed to be performed in a high school – please sing that. Bring music – accompaniest is available. Otherwise please perform the song that showcases your voice the best.

The Cabaret is a short rehearsal schedule and a small (but dedicated) time committment.

The radio play will be done as a staged reading with sound effects – you may be given a side to read. Date is still TBA, but you can let us know on your audition sheet if you would like to be considered for a role.

This is a short rehearsal schedule and a small (but dedicated) time committment
