December 2008 Board of Directors Meeting

Phil read a condensed account of the minutes for the November meeting. Susan moved to approve, Rance seconded. The motion passed. * The secretary would also like to apologize for the lack of minutes over the past few months. He is deeply sorry and will endeavor to do better in the future.*
The treasurer’s report was also read. Rance moved to approve, Sara seconded. Approved.
The webmaster reported that for the previous month we had 19,154 hit, not including web bots. Susan moved to approve, Phil seconded. Approved.
Christmas Carol
Sheila discussed the meaning of some words that were used in some publicity for the show. She said she has a great cast and they have 5 production dates lined up. The Irish Lion’s capacity was listed somewhere at 300, when in reality it’s only 50. Programs will be done.
The Annual Meeting
The Board decided that The Annual Meeting will be January 10, 2009, at The Irish Lion, at 2pm, pending approval from The Irish Lion. There were 3 members up for reelection, and two open spots.

The show Janice wanted to direct between the two Shakespeares has been postponed.
The Director’s Symposium is still looking for a producer. The dates looked at were sometime in March or late April.

Rance moved to tentatively accept the Firebay’s week possibly 1st week of March
